The Bio Select Chickpeas come from organic farming and are grown in Puglia and Basilicata. The chickpea plant loves heat and dry soils, that's why Puglia and Basilicata are perfect for this cultivation. The sowing takes place at the end of winter (to avoid too low temperatures) and the harvest after four/six months. Bio Select Chickpeas are rich in protein and fiber, gluten-free and 100% vegan.

Keep in a cold and dry place

Preparation

Leave the chickpeas to soak in cold water for 8-12 hours. Drain the chickpeas and rinse them. Immerse them in plenty of cold water, bring to a boil and cook over moderate heat for about 60 minutes. In a pressure cooker, 20 minutes from the start of the whistle. Salt must be at the end of preparation. Times may change depending on experience and personal taste.
