Our Bio Select Borlotti Beans come from organic farming in Piemonte and Veneto, regions where they grow healthy and lush. The sowing takes place around May and the harvest after 70/90 days. The Borlotti plant prefers a warm temperate climate and good sun exposure. This exposure promotes rapid drying of the soil in the event of extended rains, avoiding water stagnation. Bio Select borlotti beans are rich in fiber and protein, gluten-free and 100% vegan.

Keep in a cold and dry place

Preparation

Leave the beans to soak in cold water for 8-12 hours. Drain the beans and rinse them. Immerse them in plenty of cold water, bring to a boil and cook over moderate heat for about 60 minutes. In a pressure cooker, 20 minutes from the start of the whistle. Salt must be at the end of preparation. Times may change depending on experience and personal taste.
