Organic Pearl Spelt

The Bio Select Pearl Spelt comes from organic farming in Tuscany and Emilia Romagna. The plant of this cereal grows well in poor, stony and hilly soils, it resists low temperatures, but also dry conditions. The harvest takes place between July and August. After the harvest our spelt is "pearled", meaning that the outer layer of the grain is removed, reducing cooking times. Pearled Spelt is a source of fiber and protein and 100% vegan.
